Hello, I’m Emma! A born and raised Londonner, I recently hung up my Parisienne hat after twelve years in Paris and am thrilled to now call myself officially Aixoise.
Before moving to France, I completed my Masters degree in Art History at the University of Edinburgh. Upon realising that my wish to experience life abroad was too strong to ignore, I swapped my career in Book Publishing in London for a life of Art and adventure in France. Whilst living in Paris I had the pleasure of working as a private tour guide at the prestigious Louvre Museum.
Over the course of six years, I accompanied many families – adults and children of all ages – through the it’s labyrinth of galleries as we discussed the incredible collection. My aim was always to provide a relaxed, educational and memorable experience for every individual in my group, both big and small.
This experience led me to become a qualified French tour guide, or guide-conférencière, and I look forward to sharing my passion for French history, culture and art with you and your family.
